In conjunction with the Medical Director, Director of Cardiopulmonary/Neurodiagnostics and the Lead Cardiology Specialist, this position provides direct care of patients, ages new born through geriatric, with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the heart. The position has responsibilities mainly in the performance of various non-invasive cardiovascular exams and non-invasive vascular exams for the diagnosis of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and peripheral arterial diseases.

Required Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training - Course in Vascular Technology.  National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire. Or, National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. Or,  National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire. Or,  National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire. Or,  National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire.  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.  6 months - Vascular Scanning experience to include Peripheral Arterial/Venous and Cerebrovascular studies.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree.
