Reporting to the Department Manager and under general supervision, according to established procedures and protocols, the Cardiovascular Technician will perform treadmill stress testing, Holter monitor hook-ups, event monitors and the accompanying scanning or recording all test data and ensuring data is processed and labeled for review to be interpreted by dictating physicians.

Required qualifications:

Completion of EKG Tech Program from an accredited vocational school or college. Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Technologist Or Upon hire: National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Or Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer  6 months of experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting; 1 year preferred. Experience with Allscripts, IDX, Cardio write, Word, Excel, Meditech, and Citrix.

Preferred qualifications:

Associate's Degree Upon hire: Certificate in arrhythmia recognition and interpretation Upon hire: ACSM-CEP Certification EKG Technician experience.
