Position Summary 

Under the general guidance of the Physician/Provider, performs a variety of diagnostic and vascular sonography procedures.


Minimum Qualifications 

Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved program of Ultrasound/Sonography, or equivalent..Minimum Experience: One year experience strongly preferred. Must be able to perform Ultrasound and Vascular studies. Understanding of medical terminology, human physiology and anatomy desired.  Certification/Licensure:  ARDMS Registered, or if new graduate must be ARDMS eligible and pass a test in at least one area (i.e. Abdomen, OBGYN) including physics within one year of employment.  If a new graduate, must be eligible to take the RVT registry within 18 months. NM Sonographer and RVT licensure required. CPR certification required. 

Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
