The Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) Project Engineer II will be responsible for supporting the execution of VAVE projects and all its derived activities through the funnel stages (identification, valuation, scoping/assessment, execution, production release and closure). In addition to supporting project execution, this role will also document processes, procedures and standard work, having a broad interaction and communication with other departments of the organization. Due to the wide breadth of VAVE projects, this role will require high levels of cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

This position is located in Loveland, CO, and will be on-site.  Travel is expected approximately 15% of the time.

In this role, you will:

Identify potential VAVE projects and develop preliminary Business Cases for evaluation and prioritizationDrive VAVE projects from identification to closureManage multiple projects simultaneously across all funnel stages to advance in a timely mannerIndirectly manage/influence cross functional project resources to complete deliverablesSupport VAVE team process/standard work development and continuous improvementAdvocate and educate VAVE as a process to the broader organization

Are you qualified?

You have a BS Degree in engineering and 3 - 5 years’ experience in a component/system design engineering role or an equivalent combination of the two.You have experience in project-based execution with tight deadlines and priority constraints with proven results.You possess technical acumen in design for quality/manufacturability, component design and assembly, GD&T, materials selection, systems design.You understand the minimum design & qualification requirements in various manufacturing methods such as injection molding, machining, sheet metal, and PCB manufacturing.You are experienced in basic financial analysis, BOM analysis & definition, and component & assembling costing.  You have had exposure to data and fact-based problem-solving and root cause analysis.You have experience in executing Insource, Resource and Dual-source Projects of Supplier Components and products with a positive PPV impact.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $60,000.00 - $81,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
