Who we are looking for:
The Transaction Processing (TP) team is seeking an experienced Visual C++ with Java programming Developer with financial services background to architect, design, and manage software projects critical to our client’s real-time transaction processing needs. The right individual will leverage their analytical and technical skills to quickly familiarize themselves with our environment and deliver on-time sensitive projects for a leading investment manager. This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
As a Senior developer you will:
Develop projects on a monthly software release cycle with minimal supervision. Work with the team to design large scale enterprise solution and application integration for our on-prem applications and moving to cloud-enabled platforms. Assume the ownership from development to production rollout using software development approaches from Waterfall to Agile, including test-driven development. Handle release weekend support and production support.
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
Strong understanding of SDLC process and project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile). Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Technically responsible for designing, developing, debugging, troubleshooting, providing realistic solotuions as per the requirements. Ability to independently perform data analysis, derive field mappings and transformations, and design business solutions in software. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously across different teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with team members and stakeholders in multiple locations. Aptitude for learning new things and flexibility to adapt and follow guidelines.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience as IT Development in Visual C++ ( 2019, 2017), VB, ATL /COM , Visual Studio 2017/2019 ProgrammingExperience in Java programming is MandatoryAt least 6+ years of experience in database. Strong Sybase or SQL understanding can write and read complex system into modern designExperience testing software designed for elaborate business scenarios.Experience with production support / issue triageExperience with Jira, Agile boards is a plus.Exposure to Classic ASP, XSLT, JavaScript is desired.Are you the right candidate?
