Avnet is seeking a VCP & HRIS Specialist to join our team in Madrid (Tres Cantos).

As a VCP & HRIS Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of variable compensation calculations for the EMEA region. You will collaborate closely with HR functional owners and provide technical expertise in SAP and Workday to optimize HR processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects aimed at enhancing our compensation structure and HR information systems.

What you will be doing:

Ensure the correct calculation of the variable compensation part for the EMEA regionGive support in developing & optimizing technical HR matters in SAP & WorkdayAssist in projects in regards to the creation and implementation of variable compensation parts & HR information systems initiativesTest and implement both new applications and enhancements of existing systemsFunction as consultant and solutions partner with HR functional owners to deliver tools and system solutions (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, etc.)Create custom reporting analyticsProvides first level support to HR in all technical questionsWork closely with the HR colleagues to manage change requests and ensure complianceOther duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Successfully completed degree in Business Administration (main focus on HR and/or Finance) or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtainedExperience in SAP HCM & Workday would be an advantageEnjoy working with numbersStrong customer service orientationAbility to work in a very organized and structured mannerComfortable in dealing with confident matters sensitively and according to policyWork independent and also being a team playerWilling to work in an international environmentGood communications skills and pro-active communication styleExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft ExcelFluent in English
