Actalent is currently hiring for a VDC Coordinator to support a Design Build, Construction Management firm in Columbus, OH.
As a VDC Coordinator you will:
Lead with Vision: Establish BIM/coordination objectives and standards, collaborate with our project teams, and assist with VDC initiatives.
Execute Excellence: Provide solutions for various request while developing new means and methods that can be standardized across all projects.
Guide & Mentor: Lead coordination meetings, provide direction to planning, scheduling, and expectations while mentoring and developing other team members.
Technical Mastery: Manage and control BIM environments, R&D new innovative solutions, and provide ad hoc training/conflict resolution both internally and externally.
Quality Control: Maintain project consistency, advance BIM execution plans, and ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.
Qualifications
As a VDC Coordinator you will bring:
Education: A four-year degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on VDC experience, with expertise in model creation for various project phases and software platforms.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling and coordination tools like ACC, Revit, and Navisworks. (Revit experience is required)
Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction workflows, production cycles, and design phases.
Innovation: A knack for navigating complex challenges and developing solutions that drive project success.

Working Conditions:
Primarily work in an office environment or a project-specific job trailer. Occasionally, tasks may require working outdoors or participating in site-specific activities, which may involve light lifting as well as climbing ladders and stairs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $50.00/hr.
