The VDC Manager is responsible for managing the on-site VDC process for one or more projects, facilitates production and model development for all phases of the projects, and is responsible for the implementation of advanced technologies and providing support to VDC initiatives. This role is responsible for harnessing and leveraging Building Information Model (BIM) related solutions and bringing its benefits to each project in the Preconstruction phase. This position contributes value by allowing more accuracy in quantity estimation, visual representation of scope during preconstruction, facilitating Target Value Design and laying the foundation for Location Based Scheduling with quantities derived from BIM. In this role you may be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred5-7 years of experience in VDC/BIM 3D modeling, construction technology or related field. Specific technical expertise with VDC systems is required.Proficient with BIM technology such as: VICO, Navisworks, Revit, Assemble and other design technology in the A/C/E industry, as well as Auto Desk Suite and MS Office Suite.Complete understanding of building design, construction, operations, sequencing, techniques and systems, CPM scheduling and preconstruction services required. Must be able to read and understand contract documents and drawings, have a thorough understanding of documentation procedures, project contracts and specifications.LEED AP, CDP, Design-Build Institute of America certifications preferredValid Driver's License requiredPhysical Demands and Working Environment:
