Ferguson is seeking to hire a Virtual Design & Construction Modeler / CAD Technician.

This is an in-office role that will support the Commercial Virtual Design & Construction team.  Our ideal candidate would be in the Eastern or Central time zone, preferably within commuting distance of locations in Riviera Beach, FL, Newport News, VA or Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities:

Model all trade layout per contract documentsWorks closely with VDC Specialist to resolve clashesParticipates in coordination meetingsFollows BIM processes and standardsProduces shop drawings & other drafting deliverablesFollows the BIM Execution Plan and internal coordination processBuilding/Manipulating Revit FamiliesTracking any VDC issues throughout the coordination process

Qualifications:

1-3 years or more of related work experience requiredExperience with the Autodesk Construction Cloud (AutoCAD, Revit, Glue, Navisworks Manage, etc.) and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Construction practices and understanding of Building Codes for Mechanical and Plumbing/Piping Systems

Pay Range:

$19.47 - $31.74

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
