Veeva QMS Organizational Change Manager

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support the Veeva QMS Implementation within a global pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in leading change management strategies, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials (including video-based learning). This role requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical QMS transformations, global OCM activities, and compliance with GxP regulations.
The OCM Lead will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of Veeva QMS, enhance user experience, and drive continuous improvements in Client’s quality management processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Organizational Change Management (OCM) Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement a global OCM strategy to support the adoption of Veeva QMS across multiple regions.
• Define and execute a structured change management plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Establish OCM governance, monitoring business readiness and adoption success through KPIs and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to drive awareness, readiness, and support for the system rollout.
• Develop and execute a communication strategy, ensuring clear messaging for all levels of the organization.

2. SOP & Work Instruction Development
• Lead the creation and standardization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for all QMS business processes.
• Collaborate with business process owners, quality teams, and regulatory teams to document and validate QMS workflows.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with GxP, FDA, EMA, and other global compliance standards.
• Manage document control processes to ensure accurate revisions and approvals.

3. Training & Learning Content Development
• Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including:
o eLearning modules
o Step-by-step work instructions
o Video-based training materials
o User guides and process manuals
• Develop and execute a training and translation plan for system deployment across global teams.
• Ensure all training content is compliant with GxP requirements and aligned with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate role-based training sessions for end-users, process owners, and leadership teams.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead and mentor a team of OCM specialists, training developers, and process trainers.
• Work closely with IT, Business Process Owners, Quality & Compliance, and Training teams to drive seamless change adoption.
• Organize and facilitate stakeholder workshops, town halls, and engagement forums to ensure alignment and user adoption.
• Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all OCM-related activities within the Veeva QMS implementation project.

5. Project Management & Implementation Support
• Collaborate closely with the Agile PMO and Scrum Masters to ensure detailed project planning.
• Track OCM milestones, deliverables, and risks, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on QMS transformations.
• Extensive experience in Veeva QMS implementation or similar electronic QMS platforms.
• Strong expertise in developing SOPs, Work Instructions, and Training Materials for regulated business processes.
• Proven ability to lead global OCM initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and drive user adoption.
• Strong understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, FDA/EMA compliance, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing multilingual training materials and managing translation processes for global teams.
• Proficiency in training development tools (e.g., Articulate, Brainshark, Veeva Vault LMS).
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Confluence, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with ServiceNow, SAP ECC/S4, JDE, and enterprise data backbone systems.
• Familiarity with data migration and integration activities for QMS platforms.
• Knowledge of training effectiveness measurement and performance analytics.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $106,200 - $185,800.
