Vehicle Administration Porter
MAU is hiring a Vehicle Administration Porter for our client in Greer, SC. As a Vehicle Administration Porter, you will move and prep vehicles to ensure smooth traffic flow through the facility, enhancing customer convenience. You will also maintain an orderly parking area and clean vehicles by washing the exterior using an automated car wash, cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes as needed. This is a contract, long-term assignment.

Benefits Package 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Health savings account Shift Information Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of vehicle experience - preferred General Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in good standing Basic knowledge of car components, tools, and equipment Familiarity with proper vehicle cleaning techniques Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles Essential Functions Run daily VA locator report for vehicle delivery schedule and identify open service needs before delivery Ensure timely delivery matching the schedule and prioritize vehicles for processing Prepare vehicles by filling with gas, washing, vacuuming, and installing seat/floor mat covers, ID tags, and license plates Schedule service appointments with approved providers for vehicles requiring work before delivery Drive vehicles from inventory storage to pre-delivery locations and then to delivery or parking lots Maintain vehicle lot organization and flow; move vehicles as necessary to avoid congestion Monitor and provide status on location inventory, including pool cars, stocked inventory, and suspended associate areas Coordinate vehicle deliveries with customers and team members, staging vehicles as needed Perform vehicle return inspections, remove license plates, and transfer contents to new vehicles Participate in daily team communications and encourage teamwork to improve efficiency Run errands as needed and assist customers by directing them to the appropriate personnel Maintain VA shop duties, such as cleaning driveways, sidewalks, and performing monthly maintenance on the automated car wash Replenish vehicle fluids and perform minor tasks in preparation for customer delivery Provide transportation for VIP customers and meet specific requirements for various customer types Follow safety policies and report accidents immediately to the supervisor Perform other duties as assigned
