**PDS TECH is currently looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer for our Motorsports client in Santa Clarita, CA** **Simulation Model Development** 1-2 year experience creating and maintaining vehicle models in **Dymola** or similar physics modelling environment. **Bonus experience:** **_- Simulink_** **_- Control Systems_** **_- C++_** **Vehicle Simulation Application Engineering** Experience with populating and calibrating vehicle model parameters. Experience performing correlation studies: comparing vehicle model behaviors with real-world test data. **Broad knowledge of modelling and characterization of all vehicle systems: e.g. aerodynamics, brakes, multi-body suspensions, tires, powertrains, etc.** **Hands-On experience in physical testing to characterize vehicle systems** : K&C, shaker rig, damper dynos, wind tunnel testing, inertia rigs, brake dynos, tire rig testing etc. **Vehicle Dynamics** Solid understanding of vehicle ride and handling dynamics principles and theory.
