Vehicle Fleet Administrator II (JH)

Responsibilities

Plans and enforces safety requirements, requisitioning supplies, parts, and necessary materials.

Serves as the primary point of contact with the unit on all matters related to the maintenance and repair of the FOSOV Fleet.

Understands complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, ventilation, and/or instrumentation systems, and uses analytical and investigative methods and techniques to ensure systems meet required specifications.

Establishes methods to meet work schedules and coordinates work activities with the customer.

Performs repairs and services at the Organizational and intermediate levels of maintenance for all FOSOV Program of Record (POR) equipment.

Performs all scheduled and routine unscheduled vehicle maintenance at the unit site and off site if deployed to another CONUS location.

Performs engine, transmission and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic on assigned equipment to determine required repairs IAW applicable technical manuals.

Must be capable of replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings or other engine parts that have become unserviceable on all types of FOSOV Program of Record (POR) vehicles.

Prepares Daily PERSTAT reports.

Prepares M-W-F Non-Mission Capable reports with accurate status.

Prepares Bi-Weekly Team FOSOV Report capturing daily work schedule tasks by Bumper #, Vin, Fault, and work performed.

Works with customer and submits SSAVIE parts request and tracks status.

Tracks vehicle records including new and existing vehicles.

Maintains accurate records of vehicles.

Ensures compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance.

Schedules repairs or preventative maintains.

Creates inspection schedules and ensures that they are kept.

Performs work under general supervision.

Qualifications

Possess a bachelor's degree.

Ten years of experience on military or commercial vehicles.

Is familiar with GMV 1.1’s, M1113s, M1151s, M1165s M1152s, MRAPs (RG31, RG33 and MATV), ATVs, MRZR-A, MRZR-D, and other power-driven equipment that may require Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Technical Manuals assigned to the designated Oversees the maintenance of vehicles, personnel, and shop operations.

Must be a U.S. citizen with an active security clearance SECRET level or higher.

Must be able to maintain a secret clearance.

Must be capable of replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings or other engine parts that have become unserviceable on all types of FOSOV Program of Record (POR) vehicles.

Ability to work in all types of weather.

Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
