The Vehicle integration engineer based at the International Motors World Headquarters in Lisle, IL will create/manage 3D CAD data for all vehicle Platforms within the Vehicle Architecture group. Provides technical and analytical support to Product Development Engineering. Refers to problems that cannot be resolved to the next level. Serves as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, service, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement may last throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modification, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
The Vehicle Architecture department provides and maintains the collaborative 3D workspace and guides cross functional engineering design efforts.
• Works closely with program and engineering management to translate and incorporate customer vehicle-level performance and configuration requirements into cross-functional integration and design targets.
• Establishes product structure and data management leadership in the creation and maintenance of vehicle-level master models.
• Takes a proactive, leadership role by acting as a customer advocate and technical ‘referee’ for cross-functional attribute, design and vehicle packaging efforts.
• Performs and/or coordinates packaging studies to meet or define vehicle integration requirements.
• Interacts effectively across the organization: program management, customers, application engineering, design teams, manufacturing teams, and senior management.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills• Familiarity with Teamcenter Visualization preferred.
