We are willing to train the right person but needs attention to detail have some general knowledge of automotive repairs.  $24.00 - $33.00 / hour wages; based on experience + EVT bonus money!Both Day and Night Shift AvailableEVT training and testing materials provided!Tremendous career advancement opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package including company training.A great work environmentCompany-paid ASE testing and training materialsTremendous career advancement opportunitiesBenefits include medical, dental, vision, & 401(k)Paid holidays & vacationAnnual allowances for boots and prescription safety glassesState-of-the-art training programsDiscounts on cell phone plans, cars, and more through the Perk Spot program!Major Responsibilities:Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers by performing limited repairs & troubleshooting of low & high voltage electrical systems with minimal supervision on both basic and complex systems of the BEB  Fleet, such as high voltage battery systems, traction motors, inverters, and other high-voltage systems.Maintain records of all maintenance work completed on vehicles including parts and supplies used. Ensure that work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain parts usage records and order repair parts from designated suppliers. Assist Parts Department with identifying warranty components.Performs preventative maintenance (PM’s), safety maintenance inspections and annual maintenance inspections at prescribed intervals of time and usage. Remove, overhaul, and reinstall electronic, electro-mechanical & electro-hydraulic components with minimal supervisionNotify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action takenEvaluates completed work prior to release and seeks approval where required.Leads road calls and emergency services as necessary.Adhere to Transdev standards, policies and procedures.Moves vehicles safely between job and work area.Repair and maintain all shop equipment.Other responsibilities as requested or required.Describe level of decision making and list examples of common decisions made:Understands how to identify High-Voltage HazardsDetermines how to prioritize tasks.May provide guidance to Technicians in other classifications.Minimum Education & Certifications Required:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred)State inspection license (if required)Experience & Skills Required:Advanced Electronic & Mechanical Aptitude and 5 years of Battery-Electric or Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Hybrid-Electric repair experience (preferred) or equivalent education and experience. Must possess knowledge of High-Voltage Systems & Equipment.Adhere to standards set by state DOT for motor vehicle inspections and safety standards.Valid driver’s licenseAdvanced problem-solving abilityAdvanced computer skillsComfortable using hand tools.Excellent customer service skills and communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.Maintain an organized shop and clean work environment.Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.Possess adequate High-Voltage Technician tool inventory to complete all assigned duties and maintained in a clean and safe manner.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions (include amount of travel):Maintenance Shop environment with dust, dirt, and grease conditionsAbility to work under all weather conditions.Ability to work around High-Voltage Equipment with High-Voltage PPEAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Ability to work in a crouched position or on back, lying on mechanic’s creeper, beneath electric vehicle equipment. Get your career on the road with Transdev Vehicle Services! The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
