We boldly go. **What's in it for you:** Trane Key Accounts is hiring a Vendor Administrator to join the Collaborations team. **Thrive at work and at home:** + **Benefits** kick in on **DAY ONE** for you _and_ your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives – **WE DARE TO CARE** ! + **Family building benefits** include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance. + **401K** **match** up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to **8%** company contribution. + **Paid time off,** including in support of **volunteer** and **parental leave** needs. + Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with **tuition assistance** and **student debt support** . + Learn more about our benefits here (https://careers.tranetechnologies.com/global/en/benefits) ! **Where is the work:** This is a **remote** position. **What you will do:** **Vendor Management:** + Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. + Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. + Conduct regular reviews and assessments of vendor services and products. **Contract Administration:** + Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and agreements. + Ensure all contracts are up-to-date and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. + Monitor contract renewals and negotiate terms as necessary. **Procurement Coordination:** + Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. + Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures. + Track and manage purchase orders, invoices, and payments. **Issue Resolution:** + Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes promptly. + Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and concerns. + Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders when necessary. **Record Keeping and Reporting:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vendor contracts, communications, and transactions. + Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, contract status, and procurement activities. + Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. **Compliance and Risk Management:** + Ensure all vendor activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships. + Conduct due diligence and background checks on new vendors. **Continuous Improvement:** + Identify opportunities to streamline vendor management processes. + Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance vendor performance. + Stay informed about industry trends and developments in vendor management. **What you will bring:** + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related role. + Ability to understand customer (internal and external) needs, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner. + Strong organizational, time management, communication, negotiation, attention to detail + and multi-tasking skills. + A strong knowledge and comfort level with computers, Trane systems is preferred but not required. + HVAC experience preferred but not required. + Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required. **Base Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000** **_Disclaimer:_** This base pay range is based on US national averages.
