Ecolab is searching for a driven Vendor Help Desk Specialist for future opportunities within our Finance division in Pune, India.
The Vendor Helpdesk Specialist role is responsible for receiving and resolving daily inquire is from vendors and internal employees regarding a variety of topics including status of payment, statement inquiries and corrections.
This role requires attention to detail, but also an ability to problem-solve and investigate while working across the Procurement and payables teams to find a resolution. This role reports to the Vendor Helpdesk supervisor for their respective region.
What You Will Do:
Researching and resolving cases (inquiries) related to invoices, payments, processing of PO and Non-PO, and all vendor support activities.Maintaining a Service Level Agreement of investigating all new cases within 2 business days or less.Manage a list of critical vendors ensuring invoices are processed timelyAnswering vendor emails and/or retrieving daily voicemails and creating cases within Service Now.Collaborating with Processing Team and Supervisors on inquiries to ensure accurate and timely resolution and communication.This role will act as the first level case responder in Accounts Payable for all Ecolab inquiries and will require strong communication skills. Attention to detail, an understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as compliance of SOX and other legal requirements are keys to this role.Champion knowledge management efforts within the team by overseeing the identification and updating of knowledge, ensuring quality and relevanceFacilitate continuous improvement by fostering a culture of innovation and supporting team members in implementing improvement ideaMinimum Qualifications:
Typically requires a secondary diploma, or equivalent, plus three or more years of experience in credit, finance/accounting or related field may be substituted in part.Service now tool & SAP experience mandatory.Familiarity with fundamental business principles, processes, and terminology.Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes in a dynamic business environment.Ability to work with data accurately and pay attention to details.Excellent verbal and written communications.Skills:
