Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist

Location: Seattle/Everett, WA

Linde Gas Equipment Inc is seeking a VMI Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for daily order management within strategic accounts with the goal of ensuring adequate product supply and replenishment.

What you will be doing:

Provide a high standard of Customer Service Visit a pre-determined list of customers daily who require Vendor Managed inventory (cylinders and hardgoods)Ensure accuracy of the order, pricing, and processing in JD Edwards Convert orders into customer purchase order format and email to purchasing department Write credit memos on returned hard goods while taking orders onsite Seek opportunities to convert customers to LGE Express or Electronic Data Interchange payments helping to reduce transaction costsIdentify document Prostar (private label brand produced expressly for Linde) conversion opportunities and review quarterly with Territory ManagersDeliver product to customers as neededCommunicate effectively with General Sales Manager (GSM), Territory Managers (TM) and Distribution SupervisorsAssist Territory Managers with cylinder audits, and visit new customer sites, as neededOther duties as assigned
