Vendor Management Specialist

Responsibilities
Manages the relationship with both new and established vendors, including but not limited to customer service, claims processing, enrollment, medical management, credentialing and grievance and appeals. Monitors contracts for compliance and implementation to ensure adherence to CHOICE and regulatory standards. Follows up on and facilitates communication between vendors and CHOICE business units to identify and resolve issues and concerns, as well as to identify opportunities for improvement. Works under general supervision. Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Administration, Health Policy, or related discipline required, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Minimum three years Vendor and/or Account Management experience required, preferably in Health Care Industry. Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
