Description The Home Entertainment category is focused on delivering a world-class customer experience by bringing a large selection of brands and products to millions of customers. We are looking for a passionate Vendor Manager to lead one of our largest TV Vendors. We expect a Vendor Manager to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven ability to develop and manage relationships, influence strategy and execute, negotiate complex business terms, drive results, and demonstrate competency with business and financial analytics. The Vendor Manager must be an effective leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners, as well as with internal groups such as supply chain management, marketing, PR, finance, operations, B2B teams, and retail systems. Key job responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Manage Amazon’s business relationships with large vendors to drive topline and bottom line growth - Improve selection, profitability, operations and the customer experience - Concisely represent your business to senior Amazon leadership through reporting, business reviews, financial planning sessions, and escalations - Work cross-functionally with counterparts across in-stock management, marketing, finance, Amazon programs, and retail systems to operate and grow the business - Continually improve and automate manual processes to enable you and your team to scale better as the business grows - Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - 3+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience - Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership Preferred Qualifications - Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements - Experience owning a P&L Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
