Pay Range: $19/hr. - $23/hr. (Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience, etc.)

Overview

The Vendor Relations Associate supports the Vendor Relations Manager within an assigned territory to build in-depth relationships with vendor partners across Rubicon’s hauler network. The Vendor Relations Associate will procure new services, investigate service-related issues, billing issues and other escalations relating to the vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Address any service requests within the required service level agreements Develop, maintain, and continuously seek to improve all vendor relations Work with the Customer Care and Vendor Management teams to manage hauler performance according to contractual obligations Provide problem-solving resources and solutions to complex vendor issues Determine problems that demand immediate promotion to direct supervisor Resolve invoice questions and investigate payment issues with haulers Support the gathering and maintenance of hauler intelligence (pricing, market condition, location, and services, etc.) Respond proactively to hauler inquiries and concerns Partner with other departments to identify and to drive continuous improvement in the waste hauler network and processes Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience in a professional setting, hauler relationship management experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, customers and business partners Strong organizational and analytical skills Willingness to corporate with haulers and management to resolve any issues that may arise Strong knowledge of MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team
