Lessen recently acquired SMS Assist, an industry-leading facilities maintenance technology and delivery company. The new combined national footprint will serve more than 250,000 properties, facilitate approximately 2.5 million repair and maintenance orders, and complete nearly 20,000 renovation and turn projects per year. Lessen has quickly evolved from exciting startup to valued partner, delivering scalable and turnkey property services to our clients.
The Vendor Relationship Representative supports the Exteriors department by facilitating, developing and contributing to effective relationships with suppliers and vendors. Is able to work with general supervision. This is a full time, hybrid role with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in our Chicago, IL office. You have the option to work remotely on Wednesday and Friday. What You'll Do:
Pay is determined by several compensable factors, such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The compensation for the Vendor Relationship Representative is $ an hour.
Develop and maintain positive vendor relations to ensure superior customer satisfactionReceive and handle customer calls and email requests for servicesManage the scheduling and completion of all services assigned by customersManage real-time inquiries while keeping track of and responding to commitments to follow up with customer/vendor inquiriesIdentify, research and resolve customer issues using the company’s web-based systems and databases Source new vendors to perform required services, as needed Resolve or escalate all disputes or un-satisfied service confirmationsMaintain open communication with Vendors in a manner that adheres to all contracts and agreed upon Scope of Work throughout the duration of the relationshipProvide market intelligence feedback to maximize customer satisfaction and to ensure strategies and policies are in place to attract and retain customersProvide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in-personEnter information into our database and ensure consistency and accuracyBe able to educate clients on the benefits of the Lessen service offeringResolve most/all client and Affiliate issues without escalationRemain on the queue and address all requestsProvide creative solutions to meet client needs and maximize valueContribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives, as requested by Operation’s management or the clientProvide management with recommendations to changes in procedures, as neededYou Should Have:Advanced proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook3+ years work experience Account Management experience a plus
