Vendor Services Manager

The Vendor Services Manager is responsible for managing a team who, coordinates delivery, manages compliance, and serves as the subject matter expert for onboarding Clinical Engineering Services customers. This position focuses on executing on our service delivery strategies, creating solutions to drive improved delivery, financial efficiency, as well as analyzing historical trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Vendor Operations team as required, supports both the vendor dispatch function and completion of scheduled/corrective maintenance.Manage CES Dispatch Team in support of both provider and manufacturer service request.Develop and maintain relationships with peer service managers, both internal and external.Review and recommend changes in controls, policies, procedures and systems to provide the most efficient, cost effective administration of VM.Update and maintain VM process and procedures to facilitate consistent training/cross-training.Ensure vendor partners are meeting performance expectations outlined in teaming agreementsOversees all CES implementations for Vendor Management, coordinates onboarding of all vendor contracts, vendor documentation and vendor assignment.Complete special projects as assigned by Vendor Services Director.Ability to travel up to 10% of time


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or clinical engineering. MBA preferred5+ year’s experience in supply chain, healthcare multi-vendor service industry or healthcare related business operations.Experience guiding and coaching othersExperience in improving and maintaining and effective documentation processing systems

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong communication/interpersonal skills.Demonstrated leadership managing clinical engineering operations.Demonstrated excellent organizational skills to include detail-orientation.Demonstrated strong proficiency of PC skills to include Excel and Word.Ability to perform successfully under time constraints.Demonstrated leadership qualities and acuity.Detail-oriented and ability to execute an action plan
