Ventures Diligence and Implementation Manager
Description

The Ventures Diligence and Implementation Manager will play a pivotal role on the Corporate Ventures team enabling Strategic Partnerships, Investments and/or Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) by leading cross-functional teams through all due diligence, implementation planning and delivery. The role reports to the Ventures Program Director and will support all business segments across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates, drives and monitors the due diligence, implementation planning and Implementation execution of Ventures Programs. Ventures programs may include Strategic Partnerships, Investments or non-bank Mergers and Acquisitions.Collaborates with cross-functional teams including business segment leaders, program/project sponsors, and business support partners to develop due diligence and implementation plans.Acts as an advisor to ensure on time delivery, accurate scope, in budget and all governance is followed.Directs the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Maintains Huntington’s strong risk culture through early identification, communication and proactive management and mitigation of risks.Identifies and mitigates obstacles and escalates as needed to move the program forwardPerforms other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field.7+ years of related experience in banking or financial services industryExperience leading due diligence and implementation for Strategic Partnerships or Corporate Development.Prior M&A experience is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience running programs of varying scope and size, including building diligence and execution plans.Experience leading cross-functional programs including those involving technology integration.Experience utilizing a variety program/project management tools and creating and tracking program/project schedules in MS Excel or MS Project.Strong aptitude in both business and technology and the ability to assist with gathering requirements to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to concisely articulate status, risks and issues and other key messages to multiple layers of peers and leadership.Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them.Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and changeWillingness and drive to learn and understand business needs and detailed software solutions.High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships.Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirementsStrong understanding of program/project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and program/project management processes and standards
