**Job Title: Vertical Lathe Operator** **Job Description** Seeking a VTL Machinist for the 2nd shift on the Overhaul side. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up machines, changing over tools, adjusting offsets, running the machines, and inspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. The role involves working on Mazak and Okuma machines with Fanuc, Mazak, and Okuma controls. Parts range from 6-10 inches, 50 mm in diameter, and the machines are mostly 5-axis using a right-angle head. There is a 30-minute unpaid break and two paid 10-minute breaks, with potential overtime at the end of the shift, averaging an hour a day. Training on the 1st shift is required for approximately 4 weeks.
