WATER QUALITY PLATFORM
Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
About Role
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Vertical Marketing Manager (VMM) is responsible to drive regional revenue growth in assigned market(s) in alignment with Hach’s commercial plan. This includes understanding market drivers and opportunities, the interconnectedness of Hach’s solutions and developing and executing strategies to drive growth in existing and adjacent markets. A successful VMM is customer focused, strategic, action oriented, has a strong organizational agility and leads by influence to identify and implement growth initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing Director AAPC within the APAC Marketing team, the VMM actively brings customer centricity to commercial activities by gathering VOC to understand customer pain points and understands and leverages the relevant Veralto Enterprise Systems (VES).
What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
Driving growth by leading the vertical strategic plan for the respective municipal market.Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing, sales and service leaders to achieve growth targets for Hach’s core markets in APAC region.Analyzing customer requirements, market trends, and the competitive environment in the targeted customer segment to identify opportunities and threats and translates them into insights, strategies and actions.Collaborate with Hach global and regional APAC marketing team to develop marketing plans and strategies for the further growth of the core business, market expansion, the introduction of new products and the penetration of new distribution channelsDrive cross-functional alignment with the rest of the marketing team, sales, and service, bringing customer centricity to all commercial activities by gathering VOC to understanding customer pain pointsAchieving the strategic goals for Hach’s products via Product Life Cycle Management by partnering with Product management team to drive new product launches in APACTravel (Required Estimated % of Time): 30%
What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Business, Marketing or Engineering degreeDesired 8+ years of progressive work experience in Marketing with demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives by working cross-functionally in an international matrix organization.Strong critical thinking skills; ability to synthesize data and facts to draw logical and actionable conclusions combined with good intercultural communication skillsStrategic and growth-oriented mindset, collaborative working style, and customer centricitySelf-motivated and keen to drive for execution and results Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines – and with sometimes minimal and/or ambiguous input from stakeholdersStrong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detailThrives in a fast paced, high demand environmentNice to have experience
