Position Summary

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringPreferably with FEA experience for vertical/horizontal pumpsSound knowledge of vertical / horizontal centrifugal pumps and pump package.Experience in CAD modeling and documentationProficient with CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/drawing creation and also with AutocadFamiliar with GD&TKnowledgeable of pump package design / lay-outKnowledgeable of API plan and sealing systemKnowledgeable of pump package’s instrumentationAbility to manage multiple tasksHighly self-motivated, a willingness to make a difference and learnGood communication skills and the ability to work with different engineering team membersWorking knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...Strong design judgment.Customer focused (internal and external)Subject matter expertise and knowledgeEffective written communications skillsTeam oriented and ability to foster team spirit and attitudePrioritization and planning skillsCreating a positive work environment

Position Responsibilities:

Configure and 3D modelling of vertical pump assemblyPrepare engineering submittal (i.e. GAD and auxiliary piping drawing in 2D and 3D, pump sectional drawing, wiring diagram, P&ID, etc…) using ITT Goulds CAD software; Creo Parametric 4.0 & Autocad Plant 3D 2023Prepare fabrication and machining drawings such as soleplates, pump components, fixtures, etc.Review project requirement and understand applicable specification.Review of internal (pump related drawings) and buy-out drawings ( motor, coupling, mechanical seal, seal system, etc… ) for engineering submittal preparationInteract to global engineering and inter departments
