Tech Solutions Engineering Intern

Your Role

The Tech Solutions Engineering Intern will operate in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment which requires flexibility, adaptability, initiative as well as excellent organization and problem-solving skills. This position will be located in Warren, OH.

Key job responsibilities for this role include:

Coordinate design and design change activities for various electrified vehicle customersWork closely with product development teams to align Aptiv technology with customer needs and business pursuitLead implementation of the latest technologies into Aptiv product designsExploit Aptiv product differentiators that provides a competitive advantage (technology, cost, quality, services)Leverage Aptiv organizations/products into technical solution proposals for new business opportunitiesWork with Aptiv sales and Business Lines to ensure business objectives are metCreate and deliver technically strong customer presentationsSupport, and work closely, with Aptiv Electrification teams in other regionsAvailable to monitor and participate in harness and customer launch activitiesEnsure compliance with customer specific requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

Min. year 3 in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)1+ years' experience in a team environment1+ years' experience in Electrical Schematics/Vehicle mechanizations understanding 

Nice to have:

Excellent Communication skills – written and verbalMulti-tasking team player with a hands-on approachExposure to manufacturing environmentCAD experience
