Vet Assistant
We make pet food taste great!
This position is focused on providing care during pet food palatability (flavor) studies.
Working as a Vet Assistant allows you to work with both cats and dogs. This job is focused on animal care, and you will not have to work with customers.
Main Responsibilities:
• Maintains kennels and facility areas.
• Ensure facility is organized, sanitized, and free of odors.
• Feed cats and dogs on schedule.
• Ensures animals have access to clean water.
• Uses the provided pet toys to play and socialize animals.
• Bathes and grooms’ animals.
• Prepares pet food for scheduled feedings.
• Weighs left over food and disposes of food accordingly.
• Maintains documentation on dogs and cats and updates this information accordingly.
• Maintains a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Provides exceptional animal care.
Work Environment:
• Daily personal interaction with dogs and cats Team oriented work environment, working alongside 19+ care technicians and 4-5 vet tech staff.
• No interaction with public “clients” (i.e. Pet owners)

Starting pay is $19/hr but is negotiable.
