An Austin, TX-based nonprofit is hiring a Veteran's Specialist for a full time role!

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field OR comparable veteran specific case management experience required. 1+ year professional direct services in social services with case management experience experience working with veterans/ veteran families or homeless populations preferred Valid TX-Driver's License

Responsibilities:

Identify and engage with veterans and families to assist them in obtaining and retaining permanent affordable housing.Maintaining timely and accurate financial assistance records, case notes and evaluation and reporting requirements. Provide eligibility screenings and case management services to veterans and their families
