Practice Overview
First Avenue Veterinary Hospital is a small animal practice with a focus on creating a community of patients and owners that seek excellent, comprehensive, and compassionate care. First Ave Vet provides a full range of medical care, surgical care, and advanced dental services. We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our growing team!
What You Will Be Working On
Build and maintain client relationshipsDiagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal casesPerform small animal surgeries with opportunities for mentorship if desiredEffectively lead support staff so that owner and patient care is the best in the industry
Qualifications
Possess a DVM or equivalent degreeBe licensed or able to be licensed to practice in New YorkBe willing to work WeekendsAt least one year of experience preferredExperience in surgeryHighly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization, time management, and attention to detail
