Veterinarian

We are seeking an experienced Relief Veterinarian to join our team.
In this position you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.

We are a four vet practice, located in Half Moon Bay (south of San Francisco and west of San Mateo). We are a reverse commute for many. The hospital is spacious, with lots of natural light, and recently remodeled, with five exam rooms, isolation unit, comfort room, surgical, dental and radiology suites. We have digital radiography (including dental) and ultrasound.

We are open six days a week (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) with no on-call hours.

Our hospital is a lunch-break walk from the ocean and in the middle of an adorable downtown area with shops and restaurants. We are uniquely situated in a semi-rural locality but with ready access to both San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Ironically, our housing is more affordable than in other parts of the San Francisco Peninsula. Our region is known for lovely trails to bike or walk among redwood groves or along the seashore, with skiing and other outdoor opportunities just a few hour’s drive away. We have a huge client base, in an affluent but very down-to-earth area. Our community is a mix of families, Techies from Silicon Valley, and surfers.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The range for this position is $800 to $1200 for nine hours of receiving and procedures (scheduled 10 hours).
