Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is looking for a dedicated DVM to join our team, with availability to work recurring Saturdays. We are also open to Part-Time DVMs interested in working at least two days a week.
Established in 2002, Hyde Park Veterinary Clinic is a beloved part of the historic Hyde Park neighborhood in South Tampa. This prestigious area offers excellent shopping, dining, and nightlife, and is just a few blocks from the scenic Bayshore Boulevard. We’re also near downtown Tampa and the homes of notable athletes from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning.
Our clinic features a team of five skilled doctors and an exceptional support staff, serving a loyal clientele who prioritize high-quality care for their pets. Our facility includes eight exam rooms, a fully equipped surgical suite with top-tier technology, a dental suite, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, CBLO, and laser therapy. We are proud to be a Certified Low-Stress Handling Clinic and the first in our region to receive Cat-Friendly Practice certification from the AAFP.

Each veterinarian is paired with two technicians per shift. Appointment hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 12 PM; closed on Sundays. Each doctor has a designated surgery day each week. After-hour emergencies and critical cases are referred to BluePearl or Fetch. We use fully integrated IDEXX in-house lab equipment and digital radiography. Digital dental radiography is available, supported by well-trained technicians. Our practice is paper-lite, utilizing Cornerstone software. Opportunities for surgical and advanced dentistry mentorship are available. Our skilled team of technicians handles anesthetics, bloodwork, x-rays, and recovery. We actively engage in community charity and outreach initiatives. Our management team is supportive and highly organized, fostering a low-stress work atmosphere.Skills and Basic Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience working as a Veterinarian in a Clinic. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethicsCompensation Package and Benefits:
