Animal Health Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.  We are a 3 doctor AAHA accredited practice located in beautiful upstate N.Y.
The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine, client and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.  Duties will include:

• Providing customer service and maintaining medical records. 
• Assisting the doctor in examinations
• Filling prescriptions. 
• Performing laboratory work
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.

The salary range for this position is: $16.75 - $19.75 / hour
