Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Assistant to support our team of veterinarians and technicians. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient care, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and medical procedures.Handle patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and performing initial assessments (e.g., TPRs).Safely restrain and handle pets during exams and treatments.Administer medications as directed and assist in treatment procedures.Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas.Ensure proper handling and labeling of samples and specimens.Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments, procedures, and other interactions.Support in client communication, educating pet owners about general care and post-treatment instructions.Manage pharmacy tasks, such as filling prescriptions and ensuring proper inventory.Assist in keeping the facility clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Compensation:

Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

Schedule: Full-time opportunities available with rotating Saturday's.
