Our quality of life is truly unparalleled! We are seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing hospital to provide exceptional care to our patients! You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants, support our Credentialed Veterinary Technicians and DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital. Position Skills: Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments Restrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring manner Collect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologies Keep treatment/surgery/exam rooms clean and sanitary. Keep lab equipment well maintained, be sure cages are cleaned on all surfaces, counters, refrigerators, bathrooms, floors and general environment are kept up to hospital standards. The surgery suite is to be kept extremely sanitary and closed – walls are washed down regularly; all surfaces disinfected and supplies and crash cart kept stocked with updated non expired supplies.
