Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join the VCA Civano Animal Hospital and Emergency Team!

VCA Civano Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is proud to offer advanced veterinary care to the growing Tucson community. Our hospital is open seven days a week and provides 24/7 urgent and emergency care. In addition to dogs and cats, we see a variety of other pets such as horses, pigs, and other small farm animals, birds, rabbits, chinchillas, amphibians, reptiles, and more. 

 

Teamwork is constant in our daily practice, and our team is dedicated to making it their mission to help pets live longer, healthy lives. We rely on teamwork; each team member is equally important in helping our patients and clients.

Physical examinations and patient assessment

Anesthesia monitoring

Surgical preparation and assisting

Dentistry

Radiology

Laboratory work

Venipuncture

Catheter placement
