VCA Redmond Animal Hospital is expanding their team and is looking for a Veterinary Assistant!
Work Schedule: 4 shifts, 10 hours each (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Compensation: $20 to $25 an hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary: As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will assist with animal care, client communication, and daily clinic tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a passion for animal care.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and surgeriesPrepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and suppliesHandle and restrain animals for exams, treatments, and proceduresAdminister medications, vaccines, and treatments as directedProvide client education on pet care, medications, and proceduresMaintain accurate patient records and update client filesMonitor patients during recovery and assist with post-op careMaintain cleanliness and organization of the clinicAnswer client inquiries and schedule appointmentsEnsure the comfort and safety of animals at all timesQualifications:
Previous veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience preferredStrong knowledge of animal care and basic medical terminologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksCompassionate, patient, and a team playerAbility to lift and move up to 40 poundsMust be able to work 4 shifts of 10 hours each (Monday-Friday)Benefits:
