Our **Primary Care Service** **(General Practice)** focuses on preventative care, routine wellness exams, and client education to ensure pets receive the best possible medical attention. **Key Responsibilities** + Assist veterinarians and technicians during patient exams and treatments. + Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately. + Obtain patient histories and update medical records. + Educate clients on general pet care, vaccines, and preventative medicine. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment. + Prepare and administer medications under veterinary supervision. + Support with laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing. + Assist in handling prescription medications and refills per veterinary instructions. + Provide compassionate and professional client communication. **Compensation:** $ 18 - 23 /hr Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
