If you have been looking for a way to advance your career, please check us out. **Pay:** $18 - $27/ hour **This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system.** **As a Dermatology Veterinary Assistant, you will:** + Be comfortable with heavy client communication + Obtain patient's history   + Preferably, be comfortable with routine dermatology medications and side effects + Venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters   + Able to use Dermatology terms + Swab for Otic Cytology, and ear mite preparation + Prepare for Skin Biopsy + Able to recognize alopecia, nodules and tumors + Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments + Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients + Familiar and proficient with aseptic techniques + Familiar with laboratory procedures and practices **Why** **BluePearl** **?** + Our passion is pets.
