Veterinary Client Service Representative, PERC

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: We are a busy 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.  Hours and days of the week will vary between 7am-12am, 7 days per week to ensure face time with all CSR team members.  Holidays and weekends are required.  Weekly shifts will be between 4-5 days per week, not to exceed 40 hours.

PERC in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida is a busy and growing 24-hour Emergency and Specialty hospital offering a fast-paced work environment. The Emergency service is staffed by seasoned Veterinarians to provide high quality medical care to our patients around the clock, while working within a culture of true teamwork and collaboration with the Specialty departments, who offer referral and continued care for critically ill patients.

As a Client Service Representative, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Answering incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette as defined in the CSR manual, direct calls to other team members as necessary, and take care of routine calls such as scheduling appointments.Welcoming clients and patients to the hospital, check in patients, contact clients to confirm appointments, providing clients with any information or instructions they will need prior to their appointment.Monitoring the length of time clients are waiting, and appropriately handle situations where there is an extended wait. Use computer system to accurately enter and retrieve records and reports, enter fees and charges, and maintain the database. Generate call back reports, appointment lists, and other reports using the computer system as directed.Accepting payments from clients. Accurately process cash, checks, and charge card payments. Know and follow PERC payment policies.

About You:

1+ years of Veterinary Customer Service Experience. Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions and transactions, and experience with de-escalation of difficult and stressful client or employee situations in a respectful and professional manner.Ability to promote effective communication between the CSR team, doctors and technical staff.Ability to be flexible and adjust to a consistently changing environment, with a desire to grow and adapt within the hospital and professional field.Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
