The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by delivering account specific sales goals. This is accomplished by identifying clinic opportunities and leveraging sales data. This role works cross functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation within assigned geography. This is an individual contributor role.

Ability to translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunitiesDevelop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs. Leverage this to grow clinics within assigned geographyEstablish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geographyDevelop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staffDevelops strong working relationship with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization. Balances the needs and interests of multiple internal and external stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs)Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesEffectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategyAbility to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environmentsConduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performanceBudget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
