Housekeeping – VCA Aurora Animal Hospital
 

VCA Aurora Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to join our team! Our hospital provides top-tier veterinary care, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment is essential for our patients, clients, and staff.

Location:  2600 W Galena Blvd, Aurora, IL 60506

Schedule: Full-Time, schedule may vary between 7 am - 10 pm, including some weekends.

Compensation: $16/hour

Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of hospital facilities, including exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and public spacesPerform general cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, and disinfecting surfacesHandle laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding hospital linensAssist with waste disposal and biohazard management following safety protocolsRestock cleaning supplies and report inventory needsFollow all hospital infection control and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For:Comfortable around animals. This role requires working in an environment with animals of various sizes and temperaments.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable in a fast-paced veterinary environmentPrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and moving equipment
