At VCA Naugatuck, we provide full-service care for primarily cats and dogs. We also have a variety of tools to help our doctors diagnose and provide the best care possible. The hospital itself has been the go-to hospital for over 3 decades and we continually provide the heart of the community with the very latest in medicine, as well as community outreach.  Our hospital boasts proudly to be the only and very first AAHA and Fear-Free certified in Connecticut, and we uphold these standards at all times.  We are a youthful and fun practice that has been held strong by a loyal, solid, highly skilled, and experienced team.

The Medical Director position will be filled by someone that holds strong interpersonal and organizational skills to continue achieving our goals of delivering excellent patient care and customer service to both our clients and referring veterinarians. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine on the floor while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner.

This is a full-time urgent care position that does not require weekends, late nights, or on-call shifts. If you love emergency/urgent care medicine but are sick of the typical hours then this is the position for you!
