**BluePearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA** **is hiring a Veterinary Patient Care Manager!** + Do you want to work in a fast paced, learning environment? + Are you a passionate people leader? + Are you committed and passionate about enriching lives through remarkable care for pets? **As a Veterinary Patient Care Manager, you will:** + Provides leadership and support for daily operations involving Managers, Supervisors, and Associates in patient care operations. + Supports Patient Care leaders with escalated issues, including formal disciplinary action (e.g., final warnings, PIPs, terminations). + Collaborates with local Training Coordinator in supervising the Veterinary Technician extern program. + Approves and oversees implementation of Patient Care hospital standard operating procedures (SOP). + Oversees OSHA and risk management initiatives in partnership with the Assistant Practice Manager and BluePearl Safety team. + Collaborates with the Divisional Nursing Partner and local Training Coordinator(s) to implement medical initiatives and patient care leveling programs. + Addresses moderate client medical complaints in partnership with the Client Experience team to support medical excellence and client satisfaction. + Partners with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview and hire new associates. + Assists Practice Manger planning and managing hospital budgets, including capital expenditures and departmental spending. + Oversees monthly governance preparation, labor cost management, and departmental revenues. + Partners with Assistant Practice Manager on engagement spending and capital expenditure approvals. + Assigns work clearly, sets objectives and measures, monitors process and results, designs feedback loops into assigned tasks. **Why** **BluePearl** **?** + Our passion is pets.
