Veterinary Technician
Now Hiring a Veterinary Technician

Pay: $30/hr.

Location: Must be local in the state of MN

Job Description:

The technician will ensure the cleanliness and efficiency of labs and operating rooms, prepare surgical rooms with the necessary supplies, monitor anesthesia and animal vitals during procedures, and assist in interventional procedures. Accurate and detailed documentation is required, along with direct communication with clients to provide updates. The role also involves operating specialized software-driven equipment, including fluoroscopy and 3D imaging, as well as gas anesthesia machines and autoclaves.


Responsibilities:Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GLP regulations in the preclinical research environment.Maintain cleanliness and efficiency of labs and operating rooms.Organize and restock equipment as needed.Prepare surgical rooms with the correct supplies for each study.Monitor anesthesia and animal vitals during surgical, interim, and terminal procedures.Assist in interventional procedures by performing QCA or QVA measurements.Keep accurate and detailed documentation on each study and procedure.Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and fulfill requests.Operate specialized software-driven equipment, including fluoroscopy and 3D imaging.Operate gas anesthesia machines, autoclaves, and other surgical equipment routinely.Skills & QualificationsCertified Veterinary Technician or a 4-year degree with 2+ years of technical experienceExperience working with large animalsPreclinical experience (nice to have)Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
