We have an outstanding Contract position for a Veterinary Technician to join a leading Company located in the Bronx, NY surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $32.76 
Job Responsibilities:  Trained by the contractor in basic animal husbandry, including handling animals, cage changes, cage wash operations, managing food and water, and sanitation, and have at least 1 year of experience in laboratory animal husbandry (Level 6).Trained by the contractor in basic animal husbandry, including handling animals, cage changes, cage wash operations, managing food and water, and sanitation, and have at least 1 year of experience in laboratory animal husbandry (Level 6).    
Basic Hiring Criteria: In addition to the requirements for an Assistant Technician, this individual will be competent in the assessment of sick animals, administering treatment prescribed by a veterinarian, and will have a solid knowledge of rules and regulations.Is expected to have at least 1 year of experience working in a laboratory animal vivarium. Will be ALAT Certified and working toward LAT Certification.
