VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced RVT to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and a strong team player. We are a busy general practice with five full-time doctors.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation : $ 22 - $ 26 / hr.

*Depending on experience.

Schedule: 4- 10s (Need to be able to work Saturdays)

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience who can perform dental procedures, draw blood, place catheters, intubate, collect urine, take X-rays, assist the doctor with surgeries, and provide excellent customer service. In this role, you will support our doctors and team by helping to create a positive, low-stress environment for both clients and patients.

Requirements:

One (1) year previous experienceMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysBasic understanding of animal behavior and health careMust be comfortable with handling animals of all sizesPassion for working with animals and their ownersAble to multitask, prioritize and manage numerous patient needs efficiently in a timely manner
