Veterinary Technician - General Practice

Join VCA South Shore in Weymouth as a Veterinary Technician and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to exceptional pet care! We're looking for a compassionate and skilled professional to support our General Practice veterinarians, ensure smooth hospital operations, and deliver outstanding client service.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will warmly greet clients and pets, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and clearly explain procedures, medications, and follow-up care. You will handle inquiries and concerns with empathy. Your role will involve providing compassionate nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and assisting with exams and treatments.

To qualify, you should have experience in a veterinary facility, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and handle pressure, a professional demeanor, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. CVT and/or 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience is a plus!
