Located near Santa Rosa, at VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County, you will be joining a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital that has been caring for the pets of our community for over 40 years. About Us: We are a 24-hour veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including MRI, CT, Digital Radiography, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, and Fluoroscopy. Our facility offers services in Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency and Critical Care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Internis with patient examinations and proceduresPerform technical skills: radiographs (hands-free), venipuncture, blood pressure measurementsHandle patients compassionatelyProvide emergency response when neededEducate clients on home care instructions and medicationsCoordinate patient care efficiently with team members

Required Qualifications:

High School DiplomaExperience in a veterinary facilityStrong communication and client service skillsProficiency in telephone and computer useAbility to lift 40 pounds and work long hours under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Veterinary Technician
